Josh Costner builds companies and builds the teams that run them, so he can stay focused on vision and growth.

After graduating from UNC School of Law in 2007, Josh started Costner Law Office in 2009 as a one-person practice and grew it to 180 employees. He founded Ark Title Group, and together the two companies handled real estate closings at scale in 11 states for national homebuilders, institutional investors, and national lenders. Costner Law made the Inc. 5000 five times, peaking at No. 407. It was also a Charlotte Business Journal Fast 50 company five years running and a two-time Best Places to Work honoree. In 2024 he merged the companies with Nelson Galbreath, a Greenville, South Carolina firm led by Nathan Galbreath, to form Galbreath Costner, and he sold his interest in 2025.

Today he's CEO and Visionary of Coastaway Vacations, a vacation rental company on the Carolina coast. Through JCL, he coaches founders and operators on leadership and accountability. He's been a member of EO since 2013 and YPO since 2022.

His Christian faith shapes how he leads and how he builds. He and his wife, Carmen, live in the Charlotte area with their four kids, two boys and twin girls, and he coaches middle school baseball at Hickory Grove Christian School.
